What people are saying

“What an amazing place! Maretta and Tony are fantastic and friendly hosts, while the property itself is huge, really clean, comfortable and full of personal touches. Our party included four adults & five children and we had a cracking weekend. The on-site bar is really cool, while the property location is great to visit both Limerick and Kerry. I would highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back again.”

Our stay at Moig Lodge was exceptional - beautiful, thoughtfully equipped, and perfectly located! ☺One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland was hands down was our stay at the Moig Lodge! What a perfect location and well considered accommodations! It was ideally located in southwest Ireland, so we could easily visit the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Cork, Dingle, Limerick, Tipperary, etc. I’d recommend looking at their site for more detailed information, video overview, and pictures: http://www.moiglodge.ie We travelled with 3 families plus our Dad for his Irish Adventure, 13 in total – so having the lodge’s ‘Great Room’ with the very long and beautiful wood table was ideal. We could all sit together and have room to spare for meals! The 4 bedrooms on the main floor (each with king beds plus a single and their own bathrooms), was ideal. The kids loved hanging out upstairs and had their own space to play and hang out. The bonus kicker was having your own dedicated pub / game room just a few steps out the back! The kids loved all the games such as playing on the pool table, darts, ring toss, and of course we played cards and loved having the bar / fridge right there! The only downside was us deciding to stay up late and then get later starts on our days, because we enjoyed hanging out in the pub room, chatting and playing games, lol. While everything about the Moig Lodge was great and fit our needs perfectly, the hosts were even better, what a lovely family. We were in communication with the owners as we made our way to the lodge, and thus were greeted immediately when we arrived and given a tour to know what was where - and they let us know we could leverage available house staples, so we didn’t need to go out to buy salt/pepper and other condiments, etc. The heated floors were also a nice touch! Finally, the kids’ favorite part of the stay was their 2 lovely dogs and the 2 pygmy goats! They couldn’t get enough of them – playing fetch and hanging out. ☹There was nothing we didn't like about the lodge or the stay! However, we wish we had more time there. Looking back, we all thought it would have been great to shave a day off Dublin and spend that extra day at the Moig Lodge! There is so much to do in the area - and with the weather bringing a 'named storm' on our Ring of Kerry day - we'd have loved to have a chance to reschedule that part of the trip we had to forego...

☺This place was amazing! Both Tony and maretta were excellent host! The place is lovely and tidy and had a great space for the group of friends we had staying. The bar was great. Two lovely dogs and goats. definitely a unique staycation! They have thought of everything that you will need. You get sent a pdf file which includes any contact numbers that you will ever need, from taxi, buses, emergency ect. They also include activities to do in the local area and restaurants/takeaways Very well thought out. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone! Excellent for groups and families! I would gladly stay again!

Fantastic modern house and old school bar great for celebrations ☺The property is modern spacious and clean. Tastefully decorated and set in the most stunning surroundings. The adjoining bar has a full bar, pool table, darts board and cards. It’s cozy with a fire and lovely lighting. There’s also a newly installed weigh rack! It’s a great locate for family and friends to celebrate and come together for self contained fun. Although there’s also plenty to do near by. ☹Nothing

This was a wee gem off a holiday home, was comfortable, clean, spacious with a bonus private bar on the property. The ow ☺Very spacious, was easy to work with a full time wheelchair user. Ramps were put out and protective mats for when my son was on the floor. Bathrooms were all wet room style downstairs so suits everyone.
